29/7/2010 - St Johns, Antigua - Circle Antigua by Sea with Lunch Tour
It was a beautiful day when we arrived in St Johns, Antigua - sunny and hot!
Around lunchtime we stopped at a sheltered beach where the boat pulled up and we got to have a swim/snorkel. The coral wasn't anything to write home about, but there were lots of fish and the water was clear and cool!
Perfect for our tour today, which was circling Antigua on a large catamaran (Pictured below). The catamaran docked right beside the ship! During the trip our bartender pointed out lots of interesting places (hotels, famous people's houses, etc) - the crew on this trip were excellent, so was the music!

After the swim we had an excellent lunch and then the crew broke out Antigua's famous export - Rum! Open bar for the rest of the afternoon, and some nice sights - we visited Nelson's dockyard and took at look at a few more famous people's houses!
Today was a really fun day - and a really different excursion for this cruise!
